That’s why we are so proud to share the story of Junior, a remarkable young man who set himself the challenge of completing a 10K fundraising run, raising money for three very special charities along the way.
Junior’s determination, commitment and willingness to push himself for others is truly inspiring. But for us at Enhance, his story has an extra-special connection.
Junior’s mum, Megan, is the Manager of Whiteford House Care Home, where she leads a team who care passionately about the residents, families and wider community they are part of.
And the connection doesn’t stop there.

So what started as one young boy wanting to make a difference has brought together sport, charity, family, care home staff and the wider community — all connected through the Enhance family.
For us, this is what community is about.
It’s about cheering someone on when they are chasing a goal.

It’s about standing beside our staff and their families.
It’s about giving back to the communities we are privileged to be part of.
And it’s about celebrating kindness wherever we find it.
Junior may have been the one completing the challenge, but he certainly hasn’t done it alone.
Behind him has been his family, his football team, his supporters, the three charities — and a community that believed in what he was trying to achieve.
